About DH Property Services
DH Property Services is a family-run crew out of Plattsburgh, NY. We look after homes and short term rentals for people who want their place to feel cared for, even when they’re not here to check on it themselves. Most of what we do lives in the in-between: getting a space ready after guests or family leave, clearing out the “we’ll get to it later” corners, and handling light repairs and small plumbing issues before they turn into bigger problems.
It’s mainly the two of us, Heather and Dan, and sometimes our older kids come along to help with simple tasks and learn what it means to respect someone else’s home. We’re not a franchise or a rotating crew. You’ll see the same faces, the same care, and the same attention to the details your guests will notice—and your place will be ready for whoever walks in next.

On one of our own Airbnb stays, the air conditioner was barely working. The filter was clogged, and it could hardly blow cold air. No one asked, but Dan took it apart, cleaned it, and put it back together before we left because he couldn’t stand the idea of the next family walking into a stuffy room. That’s just how he is ....if something’s off, he fixes it.
